Who am I?…What am I about?…
I believe I’m made up of three parts, my heart, my inner soul and my creativity. All these three parts continually work to make up the individual that I am. My heart is all those things that are close to me, my family, my friends, and my life. My inner soul consists of my personal relationship with my Creator who constantly inspires me to be a better person.
My creativity is all those things that I am allowed to do and share with so many people. Through my imagery, whether it is on film, or digital media, or just a pencil and paper; I have a passion to create and produce. My creative process has been called a little corky or off the wall. I have a tendency to go against the grain of the norm. I like to look at the box from the outside.
Starting a concept with a client and seeing it develop is an exciting process. It’s kind of like giving birth to a child, in a sense it is your child. You create it, mold it and give it a little piece of you, and then you let it go out on its own.
I began attending Mt Sierra College in the fall of 2000. I embarked on a three-year journey to a B.S in Multimedia Technology. Along with traing I gained real life experience. Nothing can prepare you more than working on real designs and working with a deadline. The fast pace environment is an adrenaline rush that any artist would love to taste. I want my work to reflect the person I am. I want you to see a little of me in every piece I do. If I do that I know that I have done my job. I want you to say, “I see Roger in this piece.” Besides what’s better than having your children going out and spreading your name? If I can achieve this, I know that I am doing my job correctly.
